Surrey, England
A Norman motte-and-bailey castle traditionally associated with the de Warenne earls. The medieval masonry has disappeared, but the castle earthworks survive within public gardens.

The public Castle Grounds are open space behind Reigate High Street. The visible 'castle gateway' is an 18th-century folly built from surviving castle stone, not the original medieval gatehouse.
